Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated June 2, 2026

This page describes your right under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

Although Media Jones LLC d/b/a The Literal Company does not sell personal information in the traditional sense (we do not receive monetary payment for personal information), our use of third-party advertising and analytics partners — including cookies, pixels, and similar technology from networks such as Outbrain, Taboola, Meta, Google, Yahoo, and others — may constitute "sharing" or "sale" under the broad CPRA definitions. California residents have the right to opt out of this activity.

How to opt out

// Opt-out tools

You can opt out using any of the methods below. Your choice is honored across this Site. You may need to repeat the opt-out on each browser and device you use, because we store your preference in your browser's local storage.

  1. 1. Use the on-site control. Click the button below to register your opt-out for this browser. This also serves as your "Reject non-essential cookies" choice.
  2. 2. Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We honor the GPC signal automatically. Browsers like Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo support GPC natively; for Chrome and Safari, install the GPC extension.
  3. 3. Email us. Send a verifiable request to hello@pricehacker.com with the subject line "CCPA Opt-Out Request." Include enough information for us to verify your identity and the device(s) or account(s) involved.

Other California rights

In addition to the right to opt out, you have the right to:

  • Know what categories of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Access the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Delete personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information — though we do not currently collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right.
  • Be free from retaliation for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@pricehacker.com with the subject "CCPA Privacy Request" and a description of your request. We will respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension if reasonably necessary.

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written, signed permission from you authorizing the agent to act, and we may require you to verify your own identity directly with us.

Honoring Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal sent by certain browsers and extensions as a valid opt-out request from your device. If your browser sends GPC, your visit to this Site is treated as an opt-out from the sale or sharing of personal information, and the consent banner will not be shown.

For more about how we collect, use, and share information generally, see our Privacy Policy.
